  I finally found Dr Ted and followed him over from Scott's when the new owners took over there. He is a wonderful vet and works with his heart in view, not the dollar sign. Thanks for not "retiring" Dr Ted. So far the people here have been most patient, understanding and helpful with the transition. Thanks everyone.

  This is the best veterinarian Hospital I have EVER had the pleasure of taking my fur baby too. Care and compassion beyond my expectations. Highly recommended by me:)

  Visiting from the USA, had to take our Bernese Mountain Dog in. We been coming up here for 14 years and never needed to see a veterinarian for our Bernese Mountain Dogs. We asked our lang lake family where to take our Berner Titan and they recommended Island Animal Hospital. It was a great experience. Titan was provided excellent care, he is on the mend. The staff was fantastic, if you need a vet, go here, you will be happy you did and so will your pet. Thanks again!

  Jo, Steve, and their staff are by far the most amazing and caring people! I brought my students here a few times as a learning experience, for my grade ones to learn about 'Community Helpers', and for older students who were interested in becoming veterinarians. Absolutely fabulous both times! Not only were the tours educational, hands-on, and fun, but they provided the kids with a huge healthy snack table afterwards, and balloons! I also bring my pets here to receive fantastic care, with sensational prices! These people are definitely top notch! I can personally attest to their professionalism and enormous hearts when calling with random questions or needs, and my dog just loves them! Absolutely unbeatable!!!
